Mwanamke mmoja(Sarotini) nchini Indonesia mwenye ngozi yenye uvimbe mithili ya bubble kuzunguka mwili wake amekimbia kijiji alichokuwa anaishi baada ya kutengwa na familia yake.
Mwanamke huyo mwenye miaka 46, amekuwa akiteseka na Unsightly rare skin condition kwa miaka mitatu na akalazimika kuomba ili kuendelea kuishi.
Amekuwa akipata ufadhili wa kufanyiwa upasuaji kutoka Serikali za mitaa ili kuondoa uvimbe wenye kilo 75.5 uliopo mgongoni lakini dalili zinaonesha uvimbe kumea tena.
Nusu ya sura yake imefichwa na uvimbe na pia viuvimbe vingine vingi vikiwa vimefunika mwili wake mzima.
Mjane huyo mwenye watoto wanne,amesema asingeweza kugharamikia matibabu huko kijijini kwake Bandung.
Amesema ana matumaini ya kupona na kuwa mwanamke mrembo kama wanawake wengine.
A woman with bubble-like tumours across her body has fled her village after being disowned by her family.
Sarotin, 46, from Indonesia, has suffered from the unsightly rare skin condition for three years and is forced to beg in order to make a living.
She has had a local government-funded operation to remove a 70.5kg tumour from her back but the condition is showing signs of growing back.
Half her face has been obscured by a tumour as well as hundreds of smaller ones covering her entire body.
Widowed Sarotin, who has four children, says she could not afford medical treatment in her home village in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia.
She says all she hopes for is to fully recover so she can “be beautiful like most women.”
