    Pic shows: Couple took part and tried to win the contest for the strangest kiss with the partner. A wacky snogging competition attracted a record number of sexy entrants. Dozens of smooching couples took part trying to win a 250 GBP cash prize for the strangest kiss with their partner. The bizarre competition took place at the 13th Annual Kunming Azalea Festival in Kunming, capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province. The couples had one minute to kiss, during which time they were allowed to change postures if they thought of something stranger. And boy did they. Some leapt on each other’s backs, some bent over backwards and others got entwined on the floor in a bid to act out the strangest snog. Many of the entrants were students who were trying to win some much needed cash. Video of the weird competition quickly went viral across China as spectators cheered and applauded the contestants. Judging was done by the spectators who voted for their favourite kissers. Contestant Yan Tai,18, said:"I don’t need a competition in order to kiss my partner but it was a lot of fun. Everyone was happy and the spectators really enjoyed it. It was all done in good humour and I don’t mind saying watching everyone else has given me a few ideas." (ends) (ends)
