Tanzania’s
number one online marketplace, Kaymu, is set to launch its free
delivery campaign, where anyone can buy from a selected wide range of
products like fashion items, electronics and other affordable
accessories and
get them delivered for free all over Tanzania. In their
partnership with Tigo, any person who places an order on the website and
pre-pays through Tigo Pesa will automatically enjoy free delivery of
the item, to anywhere they wish within the country.
The campaign which is expected to commence from the 27th
of April and go on for five days, is aimed at ensuring its customers
enjoy their online shopping experience without having to pay extra money
for delivery or travel to collect the item from the respective shop.
This is an opportunity for those customers outside Dar-es-Salaam region
to avoid delivery costs.
Addressing the media, Kaymu Tanzania‘s
country manager Erfaan Mojgani said, “We are very happy and proud to
offer our customers an opportunity to shop and the get items delivered
for free all over Tanzania, we also do realize that we have plenty of
customers upcountry that have helped us grow as a business, this is a
sign of appreciation and many more to come”.
In

behind. Kaymu believes that this time around, shopaholics will realize
they have an alternative to flocking malls or markets and queuing in
long lines.”
