When
Wladimir Klitschko wakes up on Saturday morning ahead of his world
heavyweight title fight with Tyson Fury, he will like what he sees in
the mirror.
The
long-reigning monarch of boxing’s marquee division stops short of
saying he is the Special One, but when the name of Jose Mourinho is put
to him he says: ‘I do have a very big ego. Every time I look in the
mirror — morning, evening — I see a person I actually like. I think
that’s a cool dude who’s done well.’
He
also expects to admire that same impressive image of himself when he
gets back to his dressing room after dealing with his British challenger
in front of more than 50,000 fans in Dusseldorf’s main football stadium
and 150 million television viewers around the world.
